    I think it might be a coin bank. its a clown on top witch you can push down, wind clockwise, insert a coin and it spins. It looks hand painted. looks like the clown is made of two molds.I think its cast iron. Can anyone give me a value or more information on when it might have been made.

      The "clown on globe" mechanical bank was first produced in 1890, but this one might be a reproduction. The reproductions from the 1930s are valuable antiques, but there are also fakes being made today. You might pick up a book on how to tell the differences. I know there's a way to compare the size of the base, as well as the paint.
