once in a while a very rare shape hits the market. This is one of them...standing only 3 inches tall, its a design tour de force by Richter with its three wings/legs looking very much like some tiny rocket ship.

      Another amazing vase famatta.
      This vase is from 1901?
      Avant-garde . Jugendstil in miniature.
Amazing! Did Arno Richter influence Maria Kirschner/Koloman Moser?
Or was it the other way round?
Thanks again for sharing your wonderful collection.

This form in this decoration was only made for Bakalowitz for one year, 1903. As far as influence...certainly there is evidence of Kirschner being a "student" of Moser and their works for Loetz pre-date those by Richter. Moser and Kirschner were artists with many passions that included glass. They also both were well known for their painting.

ANOTHER GREAT PIECE FROM THE "LOETZSTER".
