Another garage sale find . 2 bucks . They say 925 . On the back but no other markings . Also how should I clean these . They have two birds on the front of both (doves ) . Also love the filigree type of work on them . Any ideas on the age ?
Same as on the other post - a silver cleaning cloth. Shepherd's hook earring backs were popular in the late 1800s. I don't think your earrings are that old, so 20th century reproductions of an earlier design. Not always possible to give an accurate date.
