This Skyscraper Art Deco style clock has a gorgeous swirled brown bakelite case with a subtly stepped profile and an embossed metal dial. It was also available with a black case, with or without an alarm function. Spin-to-start electric movement.
Stanford Products, Ltd. was only in operation for about 18 months in 1931-1932. Owned by David Spector, the company was located on Mission Street in San Francisco and employed about 40 people. This model, a similar one with a perpetual calendar feature below the dial, and most of the company's early production, was designed by William M. Brower.
