2 week ago @ho2cultcha, post a brass angel, this post make me remember one similar angel i have in a storage box somewhere, I found it last night.

I have this Angel for almost 15 years, this was give to me by a friend has a vacation in italy long time ago, he salvage from a dumpster, when he found it, he mention to me he take from a very old door, he believe the door was a confessional the way it was design.
For sure today, this will not be possible to do it, first they more concentrated for saving very old building instead of tear down, and relic like this are difficult to put in your luggage
Every time we meet, we talk about this angel in a funny way, he regret to not have take the complete door, lol, he remember this door having lot of renaissance decoration on it, we just visualize how to put the door in the airplane today, panic for sure, LOL.

This Angel stand 5.50 inch long by 1 inch wide.

Wow Alan, that's one beautiful confessional handle. Never been in a confessional with such a beautiful door handle. Ours is pretty plain and simple.
