Good Morning CW Members--- 12:30 AM)2016-9-20
I found this nice vase Yesterday at the Salvation Army, lot of mouvement around the donation car, it's look like no one seeing this Vase, the first look i thought Western Germany, was very please to see it was different, very mid century design at the beginning of modern mouvement, nice and colourful.
This vase is made by "Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (PZH)", PZH was founded in the town of Gouda in South-Holland (Zuid-Holland).\
It is now known, through 'new' documents found, to have been founded around November 1897 earlier than the 1898 previously thought.
I read on this company tonight very interesting, i look at many beautiful older piece, with some design very elaborated, hand painted in the 1890 to 1920, look forward to find more, maybe, who know......

Love anything black with a bit of colour, really makes it 'POP'....just up my alley..nice!..:-)
A really nice find! Likely made for export, as it has English on the bottom. I see loads of Gouda in my travels around South Limburg.
Nice find ALAN !!!!
Penny, to be honest that what attracted me too, the black background with decoration, in addition this my first from this maker.
