I met Frank Howell several times in the mid 70's when he would do shows at a gallery in our local mall, one of the few in the area at the time. I worked in the mall and would spend my lunch break gazing at his paintings and going through prints. I couldn't afford any of them on my $2.65/hr retail job at May Co. But I loved to look!
Then several years ago I was able to get my own Frank Howell print. It was beautifully framed in what appears to be burled wood. The measurements with the frame are 26" x 20". I'm not sure of the measurement without the frame as it would require me to take it off the wall. It is heavy and I am clumsy.
He is a very handsome man.
