Hi all. We recently found this vintage oil lamp and hoping someone may be able to identify the period/maker.
We've only found one potential makers mark on the face of the wick winder (picture attached).

The font itself is a "vortex" shape measuring 5cm diameter at the base, 14cm diameter at the widest point and 8cm in height.

The chimney fitting appears to be made of brass (but the fitter for the chimney looks like copper). The wick is cylindrical which I thought was quite a unique feature.

If more detail is required, pleas let me know.

    Many thanks in advance!

It's a Bracket Lamp without the bracket that would attach to a wall or an insert font for a hanging lamp that is missing the frame. It dates from the late 1800's- early 1900's and is European....possibly Austrian. Round wick burners are common from this era. It is missing the central flame spreader that would fit inside the wick.
