Is this a real kestner or a reproduction. The eyes maybe decal?? I know they are suppose to have glass eyes.

All looks like a original Kestner but eyes have me baffled . Can you photo him with eyes closed laying down or do they not close ? On 3rd photo looks like eye rim is chipped is it ? I need to see if eyes close and what they look like I will await your reply . He also should have a plaster pate . Can you see any part of top of head under wig ? If eyes were damaged or poked out by a child as the rim chip may indicate they maybe replaced ? Hard to tell by photo's and not holding him .
There is a chip or something..looks like it's under rim of eye bottom part of eye. The hair is pretty secure but there is a space between pate. I would post a pic but this only let's me post 4 pics.
Can you email me the photo of the top of head rim ? The backside of eyes still leave a question they look painted on photo and they should have said original right away to me but they didn't.

I am going to swap out a pic. I tried sending email and Yahoo won't send it.
I am going to say doll is not a repro but not sure if eyes were replaced . Would need to hold doll to tell . It is possible they are original but again I would have to exam in person and could tell then if they were replaced .
