I have this Brass Art Nouveau Compote for quite a while, i did't remember I have it, since I found it when i was looking for my brass Angel post yesterday, big problem when you forgot such beautiful piece, very nice for display, I believe this pedestal brass mount have a kind of glass bowl originally inside or I could be wrong, show some wear on the inside.
Typical theme( fish tail up) for that period late 1890 beginning 1900, I seeing this kind of fish design before.
I look at the time when i found this for any mark on it, no luck whatsoever.
This brass centre piece stand, 5.50 inch tall by 5.75 inch wide.

I would say Victorian era British
Beautiful! Those fishes are classical dolphin motif :-)
