Until shortly after WWII started, the Deutsch Kriegsmarine had the names of the ships on the sailor's "pancake" hat talleys (ribbons). Of course this practice showed which ships were in which harbour. All these talleys were soon changed to just Kriegsmarine. This is an original & is 112 cm/44" long. I know that staff says this is not fb, but the 3rd pic is our capital, Phillipsburg & then my old Sea Rescue T-shirt.
Hey staff, just filling in the blanks !
That's really interesting about the hat talleys. Awesome view of Phillipsburg!!
Thomas, there is probably another 40 illegals & transient. Doesn't seem all that crowded until you drive during season. We don't have too many cars. We have too many drivers !
Hi JScott.
Oh so jealous of that view ! Wish Mani was there :-) You always say bb2 was here well I am saying I wish I was there !
Candle in the window, Mani.
Thanks bb2 I will look for it in my dreams :-)
great posting!!
Roy, I don't open my puter to sites I'm not familiar with, so pass. Also, after a real struggle, I got off of fb & don't dare get close again. Sorry ! Can't share directly with me ?
Didn't realize you were in the path. Been there done that and never have I ever wished I would have left. Be safe BB.!! You can have a hurricane party later.
OGF, Mathew passed S. of us but is stalled behind us. Can't trust them & we are looking over our shoulder. Best hurricane preparations is to get a ticket to Toronto.
good day Lucas, I forgot to tell you what those were...lol
