I'm hoping someone could help me with this jug/pitcher.
I bought it from a bric-a-brac stall so they knew nothing about it. I think from some solo research it may be lead glazed redware/slipware about 19th century. It's about 8.5 inches tall and has a brown slip line trailed pattern. It does not have a pouring lip so I'm not sure what it was used for (ale , milking cows?) There are no marks on it anywhere to identify, so if anyone can tell me anything or an opinion on my thoughts so far that would be greatly appreciated.
