I found this beautiful bowl at Goodwill, so I picked it up for my mom as a future gift.
The sandstone-like colours swirling through it and the image of Holland embossed inside make it very interesting.
The maker's mark is a G, with what looks like a vertical stereotypical rendition of a bone and a dot sitting in the valley of the upper end.?
Ideas on age and maker?
Why don't I ever see things like this here ? After all, I live in Dutch territory ! Maybe it's because I haven't looked. Our Delft shop closed !
Imperial Glass 'Windmill'; the logo shows in the last pic of the bottom.
I have a small pitcher posted of this pattern:

Blunderbuss, LOL. I like to go to thrift stores in my spare time.
TallCakes, thank you for solving the the mystery. Gorgeous pitcher.
you're welcome. love the bowl!
Beautiful piece & the colouring looks like sea(conch) shell.
Blunderbuss, I'm sure my mom will love it.
I'm sure she will, as you already have a following here .
Very nice Spirit! I love the last pic... it reminds me of the rock striations.
I agree, Rick55.
