Good Evening CW Members--- 10:00 PM)2016-9-22
Good timing, Providence and for this case Mother nature, have work for me, when I was in direction to work this morning, I see a big Dumpster in the middle of a parking lot near where I work, It's happen to me many time to find very good thing in there, this could be aluminum, copper, any metal or thing i can salvage, but those place not only being use by the demolition company but also by anybody want to get rid of something, well i never think one moment i could find anything close to what i found.
At first I see one book without any interest, I keep digging and oups i found a 1939 World Fair Visitor Guide, hey start to be interesting, when I found one from 1853, I was euphoric, how could someone put this in the thrash, I don't get it, but i like it, i start to move inside the Bin slowly, very slowly, i move stuff from one side to the other side, and vise versa, util i am sure to cover all the Bin, I finish with a treasure of 9 book, ranging from 1853 to 1939, for sure lot of research and fun with this find.
1 hour later the rain come, this is what i call a very good save here, all those beautiful books as being completely destroy by the rain, 4 sure providence, timing and i could say curiosity.

This first post is really what drive me recently, my new passion for glass collecting, when I admire this picture, i just dream to be there with all those Art glass surrounded me.
