    The key stone card of an inherited album. Was wondering as to why all the China, Japan, Phillipeans and Hawaii post cards,,,looks like I have many from every port of call.

      This is the Armored Cruiser South Dakota that was launched 1902 and scrapped 1930. It was renamed Huron in 1920 as a battleship South Dakota was planned but cancelled. The was another USS South Dakota Battleship in WWII. TMI I know.

      I thought a 1st that this was connected with the Great White Fleet circumnavigation, but that was 1907-09.
