A so called "stencil" horn, probably made in China by a large factory. Probably an imitation of Yamaha and sold under various brand names. Not antique, perhaps vintage but the case might be for another trumpet. Nice quality mouthpiece though which is made by Benge, Los Angeles. It's a standard Bb trumpet. You don't really use the alto soprano etc nomenclature but rather the tuning, Bb (standard) C (common in orchestras) Eb for more classical works. A small piccola is tuned in Bb as well, half the size and hence one octave higher than this one.
