So this sign 6ft was passed down to me from my Grandfather to my father and then to me. My grandfather found this in the attic of a gas station he bought in the 60’s and it was still in the box! Unfortunately my dad took it out of the box and hung it on the wall. It is in almost perfect shape. My only problem is… I know very little about it. I have found a 3ft version of this online without a wooden frame that is supposedly from the 30’s. I was wondering if anyone could give me any info or where I could find some. Thanks!!!
I have no clue what its worth or info on it but my grandfather and father ran a station. I worked there pumping gas. This same thermometer was on the wall and was the most memorable piece from the place. Ive been Trying to track down one for a while. Thats how i came across your post. Id love to find one to hang in my garage. Very nice piece.
