The attached images are of just one of six cups we have with saucers including a sugar bowl, cream jug and coffee pot. I have been desperately trying to find out which pattern this is but am really struggling, it is such a beautiful set which originally belonged to my partners Grandmother. What we do know is that it dates between 1934-39 and although there is a registration number on the bottom we still can find nothing else about it. If anyone can enlighten us it would be greatly appreciated
When I checked the potteries.org registration number, the pattern was registered in 1932. Sad that they didn’t write the names back then, some only had pattern codes or numbers. If that is an alpha numeric hand written number, then that is all you will find in research.
If you want to just add to the set, then replacements.com can help you with that, you can send them a photo. They have their own code system, assigned to pieces without actual names, just so that they can control their inventory, so won’t help if your’e just curious about a pattern name, it probably doesn’t exist
That's wonderful thank you Mary I will check them out. You would think living in the Potteries we would be able to find out more information but sadly so many Pot Banks are no longer a going concern and all that history and information seems to have been lost.
