This is a beautiful piece I inherited from family years ago. I believe it was from the "family farm" of the great grandparents in the early 1900s or possibly purchased from a dealer, as the former owner had it insured as valuable with other antique items for decades. I am interested in selling this in the future, and have no idea what to even call it. Victorian Folk Art? Decopage on Mirror? It's an amazing piece of handmade Victorian paper craft. I believe the cutouts are all from late 19th century seed catalogs and packages. Many look like chromolithographs. The frame is obviously the orginal it's very old.
I would love to hear anyone's comments on this one-of-a-kind piece! It's a mystery to me.
It is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS !!!!
