Good morning fellow collectors. I have bought this little Scouts pocket watch and pin as a present for a friend who is a Scout Leader. However before I give it to her any chance of some info please. Am guessing 1950's but would like more info if poss to tell her about it. Am hoping Kerry and co will jump in with amazing facts and figures.

Wandlessfairy, These are Ingersoll watches made in Great Britain. If you pop the back off you should see a number stamped on the plate, i.e. 73 meaning 1973. I have a few of these.

Thank you pw. Were they made in a great number for the scouts at all do you know ? When I give it to my friend I just wanted her to have a little history if possible.

Wandlessfairy, the watch itself has no connection as being manufactured for the scouts. The scout pin with the watch might mean a scout carried that watch.
There are a few "dollar watch" companies that made specific scout watches. You can see my scout watches (2-pocket watches) & (1- wristwatch) on this link to my boy scout category:

Thank you Dave you watches are fab. Will attempt to get the back off this weekend and check the date. Thanks for all the love, my friend will be delighted that her prezzie, bought as a rememberence for her late husband, was so admired.
