    (1017 items)

I did an Image search and word searches and found zip. The condition is super. No damage from a knife or any other utensil.
I'm not great in the kitchen so sometimes simple things confuse me, lol!

    Diameter is 11 inches.

Inky says this is a teapot stand/trivet. I'm going along with that deduction as I have nothing better to offer. :-)))))

    Thanks for any help.

It is so strange Flea.....it has to be missing something I think.....it just doesn't make any sense to me at all lol.....
    6. fleafinder fleafinder, 8 years ago
yes tas i wonder if it's a cake stand so you can cut a cake equally with the directions on the plate but i wonder too why is it so nice at the bottom
    7. TassieDevil TassieDevil, 8 years ago
That's exactly what I was thinking Flea!!! LOL I am not crazy after all!!

Youse guys - I think the plain side is the underneath. I thought, like kyra, that it is for a pie. It seems it wasn't used for that because there isn't one single knife blade mark on it.

      I dunno.....lol!

Tango >>> BRING THE PLATES BACK?!!!!!? Bahahahahahahaha!........... Sorry, but the idea of my wife asking me to bring the plates back to the kitchen is just too funny!!!.......... I guess I'd better explain. We're Japanese, as most of you know by now. Not as old fashioned as our parents, but still considered old fashioned by today's standards. Bringing the plates back to the kitchen just isn't something I've ever been asked or told to do. It's a cultural thing. Sorry. [;>)

I have a few of these and use them as plant pot stands to save marking the furniture, they are actually tea pot stands...the segment side is the underneath...:-)

inky - teapot stand? That never occurred to me, due to the size of it. That would explain why there are no knife marks on the top. It's prettier in person than in the photo, too.
