This Float was hanging at the house my parents started renting many years ago and after the owner offered to sell the house to them he left the float at the house this was one of two Floats hanging outside under the porch but unfortunately one of them broke my mom came to visit and she had this piece with her I was so happy because I had always wanted it but never bothered to ask her for it . I had it hanging out side my Patio but since it can get really windy I got scared thinking what if it falls so I brought it inside I still don't know where I am going to put because it is heavy so for now it sits on the floor in my Primitive Living room.

I love fishing floats and there is a huge diversity and history behind them.
I have one still in it's rope bobbing around in my swimming pool.
They are generally pretty tough - the glass is thick and the rope helps protect them from impact.
I think it's so great to think they have been bobbing around the ocean, often for decades and thousands of kilometres.
