So, apparently, I like the Gouda style! I got this lovely little vase at the same estate sale where I got the unknown oval vases.

This beautiful vase is 5 inches tall, and 3 inches wide at its widest point. I do not know much about these vases, except that they were made around the 1930s or just before or after. And, they were made in the Gouda-style...Or, were they??...Maybe the Gouda vases were made in the Japanese style...Hmmm...Something to chew on. :)

If you have any knowledge about my beautiful little vase, I would love to have it! Thanks!

Without the mark, I would've never guessed that it was made in Japan! [;>)

Japan made quite a bit of Gouda style ceramics and they were made from about the 20s until at least WW2. The designs and colours they used were different from Gouda region pottery but close enough to appeal to the market.
I wonder if your other two pieces are Japanese also?

There is a collector base for these ceramics, and I can see why. They are beautiful even if they are derivative.
