Extremely heavy crystal cut glass vase/beaker.Bevelled X to base?

First up, sorry for the poor photos and what will become an equally poor description....
It's a very heavy vase weighing 1.5kg, it has an X which has a Bevelled edge cut into the base,it has circles and x's cut into the glass all the way around and into the base? I wonder if anyone knows who made this piece as it seems to be of good quality! Any help would be appreciated! Thank you
