We bought this pair of vases at an auction in Colorado many years ago. I think they were kept in a garden area as they did have some dirt inside. I cannot find any identifying marks so I'm not sure if they are just reproductions. Appears to be porcelain and over 12" high. They look similar in style to Robert Hanke but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated in identifying the maker etc.

Exactly this was my first thought - it looks very similar to Royal Wettina.

Thank you for responding. I did some checking and the vases do look very similar to Royal Wettina. I'm hoping they are not reproductions so I'm going to try and see if there are markings of any kind underneath. So far I haven't been able to see anything inside or out.

I'm not an expert, but I don't think they are a reproduction. They have got crazing, so they must have some age behind them and they look nice good quality.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am hoping to sell them but I want to make sure that I am representing them accurately.

I tried to do a more thorough check of the bottom and there seems to be an extremely faint number. Looks like 1113 with possibly another number below it. That is all I can make out thus far. I cannot see any type of colored markings though.
