    I bought this from the same place as the silver citrine earrings. The brooch is silver. I had it tested. It almost looks like a razor blade. I would date it to 1950s, give or take a bit. Length is 2.5 inches.

      karen - I thought about that, but the color doesn't seem right. I've never seen any jewelry remotely like this brooch.

      It could be oxidized steel but more likely stamped tin or aluminum, if it's lightweight. 1950s is a stretch, imho, it looks more recent to me.

      davyd286 - it could very well be more recent. An old woman was selling whatever jewelry she had out of her jewelry box. Maybe it's 1970s. Weight is 9.33 grams.
