    Hello

I am trying to find out about this old wooden box and micrometer made by the Newall engineering company. Its the first time I have come across micrometres so I am a complete novice! through research and asking on forums their seems to be very little about the Newall engineering company and their micrometers. So if anyone has come across these I would really appreciate hearing about it!

Hi Gillian thanks for your help, I have already emailed them, as there website is under construction no reply as yet. It has some nice info on the website but doesn't really tell me about this specific micrometer.
