      Hello Manikin, thank you for the explanation, I spent hours trying to find a trace of drilling on several of my small animals :)
      I have few more Steiff animals; I will upload them soon, hope you will love them.

      Your welcome and I do love steiff . Many old teddy bears are easier to date then tell who made them since so many were not marked or tagged . Many USA bears had tags but old German bears not tagged as often so it becomes a guessing game as to how they were made ,some companies put seams in different places, some made nose threads go vertical and some did horizontal . So many variables . As I said dating them is easier to do :-)
