"Flower of Life" - a memorial complex , part of the Green Belt of Glory ; created in memory of the fallen children of besieged Leningrad .
Located in the Vsevolozhsk district of the Leningrad region in the 3 km Life Road A128 . Opened October 28, 1968.
The composition of the memorial include: a monument "Flower of Life" (1968, 15 m, architect Melnikov PI ), Alley of Friendship (1970, architect Levenkov AD), and the funeral mound, "Diary of Tanya Savicheva ", consisting of eight stelae - besieged diary pages (1975, architects: Levenkov AD, Fetisov GG, engineer Coman MV).
On the petals of the flower depicted a smiling boy's face and the words "May there always be sunshine".
