Citlali Mexico Sterling Silver Pendant...A Freebie!

Today's markets were rather boring compared to yesterday, but this made up for it. I helped someone I know for quite a few years to sort out a bag full of all kinds of jewelry. Mixed in with all the costume stuff was this pendant and chain. When I was finished untangling the stuff, I asked what she wanted for the pendant. She said I could have it as payment for all the work I did. :-)))))

Joyas Citlali is a family business founded in 1968 by Francisco Sánchez Sahagún who was born in Guadalajara where he is the city's leading jeweler. Citlali is a Nahuatl word meaning star and the essence of pre-Hispanic times shapes their collection. They start with the original designs of the Hispanic cultures and transform them into contemporary silver jewelry. Other elements of nature - birds, flowers and people are important sources of inspiration as well, in making their beautiful creations.

Citlali has exported jewelry all over the world and have won awards in competitions. Francisco Sánchez was awarded a scholarship in International Trade in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and in 2010 he was designated as an established designer at the event organized by the Minerva Fashion Houses.
