I bought this set of ???? in a second hand store. They appear to be made of a hard clear resin material. But they look like glass. The backsides are flat. No hoops on either end and the dried flowers and leaves inside are real and look like they've been meticulously placed inside by hand. Each piece is unique (variations to the flowers and leaves inside). Are they some type of place setting decorations?
Is it possible they are paperweights?
I have no idea. They don't weigh much.
I was thinking maybe they're made to sit on top of a folded napkin as a type of decoration at the dinner table. But there are just five and not six.
I think they are chopstick rests.
Here is my post from last year.

Happy to pay it forward.
Very pretty set you have.
I was going to say knife rests. They could do double duty knives, or chopsticks!
Knife rests.

Thank you OneGoodFind and Celiene! They could be either chopstick rests or knife rests! And I would never have guessed either one!
Do you know if they're a complete set? Is the box the original container? Are there any markings on the box?
Asian sets typically come in odd numbers, usually 5, 7 and 9, so....... [;>)
Hi NevadaBlades Yes, the set seems to be complete and the box original. They seem to also be unused. There are no markings on the box. Thanks for your input! That explains why there are just 5!
