Tall Amber Cut to Clear Chalice

This goblet or chalice stands 12 inches tall and is about 3.5 inches in diameter at the widest point. It is quite heavy, and the glass is about 1/4 inch thick. The rim is finely beveled. I don't know the maker, but I feel fairly certain that it is Bohemian in origin. The glass is stained amber, cut to clear. The cutting is done with fine detail and in a naturalistic style. I'm sorry that the close-up photos don't quite do it justice since the amber from the opposite side is showing through the clear. There are 3 main panels, one depicting the papa bird, another shows the mama bird, and the third shows the young bird couple making their nest. I suspect the object was made during the art nouveau or perhaps the Victorian era. It allegorically reflects the values of home and family, which were prominent during that era, through the device of a pictorial story of birds beginning their family and feathering their nest.
