since, by what ive read, PIC was formed in 1950, this knife probably is that old. ive never seen ANY knife by any maker that looks any thing like this 1. looks like it was meant for battle, no doubt. ..... guess it could've seen viet nam, but that's a crap shoot.
its massive blade needs a lil cleaning and could use a lil saddle soap, but its a real solid knife. the stacked leather is slightly twisted at the cross guard, but extremely tight. its seen some serious work, ill bet. I am gonna clean it up and retire it . it might, might, I say, cut a pc of rope.... or behead a big azz buck, but its not gonna see any other abuse so long as its in the Delp hands.
ron, if you read this, anything you know about this PIC or the B svoboda I posted is really appreciated. some of what I read, I don't always believe.
