When I bought this vase four or five years ago it was attributed as Harrach Hekla décor. I bought it from a knowledgable seller, and I had even seen a couple of similarly decorated vases in different shapes attributed as Harrach. I was surprised when a friend in a glass discussion email group emailed me a picture that they had taken while on a visit to the Passau Glass Museum. There sat a vase very much like my own, though it wasn't in the Harrach case, but in the Poschinger display! I have included a photo of that shelf (#4).

Whether Poschinger, Harrach, or any other maker, this is a beautifully crafted piece. The décor is not very common. It is approximately 8.5 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter and has a bulbous shape. The colorful swirls of red, purple, green, and yellow glass are pulled through a clear base glass. The surface has an iridescent metallic oxide treatment. The polished rim is quadrifoliate in form and there is a polished pontil on the base, which is located in the center of an upraised square designed to keep the vase level while on a flat surface. Does anybody on this forum happen to have a comparable? If so, I would love to see other examples of this type.

Here is my vase with the same decor. I think it's not properly included in PGM. It's Harrach. http://www.bohemianglass.org/katalog/misa-vaza-jaspis-cracquele-1029/detail/
