Hello, was hoping someone could educate me regarding the maker, region and date the miniature tea cups were created?
No signature on bottom but there is a gold symbol present on two sides.
Any information is sincerely appreciated.

Sake cups? hard to tell the age when they’re unmarked
Hi Mary, I wondered if they were sake cups but assumed they were Chinese due to the symbol. Thank you for replying. I really appreciate it!

Thank you, Mary! You've been very helpful. I researched a bit further after you mentioned the possibility of sake cups. I made the mistake of assuming if they were sake cups they had to be from Japan....so I really do thank you for suggesting "sake cups" as I have now been educated :). Once I'm confident for where they came from and who the maker is I will post the information I found to this forum.
