This is the last player piano I've rebuilt. Built in 1929 by the Gulbransen Company of Chicago, this unusual player has mechanisms for playing piano as a pianist would, capable of loud; soft; fast and slow, automatically depending upon the roll played (aka 'Reproducing'). The reproducing system installed in this player is the Recordo with 16 intensity levels. I've restored many, but this in the rarest and most ornamental reproducing player piano I've ever seen. Electric, but capable of being pumped by foot with the two outer brass pedals, making it a 4 pedal piano. Please excuse the condition of the second pic, this was taken some time prior to full restoration. I should add; I stopped piano restoration work about 10 years ago. Too heavy and my sight has been failing for years.
