My mom was born in 1920 so I'm assuming this piece is from 1940's. The label on the back says manufactured by Huntington Furniture Lines, Huntington, West Virginia and shipped to Bornstein and Fisher in Boston. It has the ID #605-WA1 on the label also. I've searched to try to find out more about value with no luck. Any search tips would be welcome. There are 2 shelves and no drawers.

The photo supplied is just too dark to see any detail atall. Could you resubmit, with photos of the back, and inside the drawers (if there are any). A description of the item would be useful too. Take a photo with natural light facing it, and no flash.

I expect you've done on online search of the label, with a description of item.

btw CW does not offer appraisals.

I'm not asking for an appraisal, just a suggestion as to where to search as I haven't found anything searching the manufacturer. As for the picture, I'll see what I can do.

This style is typical of the 2nd quarter, 20th century.

ebay will give you an idea on values-- look for closed auctions and remember to take into account shipping.

This type of china cabinet are fairly plentiful on the market-- a local auction house may give you a better idea.

In my area they are usually in the $200- $350 range, suspect you will find the same on ebay/ in your area.

Thanks...that is what I found on eBay...about $200- $500. I'm going to pass this piece on to my daughter after I get it cleaned but it's nice to know an approximate value. Of course, it goes without saying, it hold more sentimental value than monetary value.

The value is very low right now and 200 to 500 is the max it would bring. Most furniture even rare pieces took dives in the last 10 years. Enjoy it for your family !
