    I just rediscovered this EAPG platter that I had bought this past summer. I was moving a book in my office and the pile it was on fell over and this was at the bottom. I'm not a hoarder...lol and Denial is just a river in Egypt.

    I think it's from the 1876 Centennial worlds fair in Philadelphia.

    This plate has been reproduced but I believe this is the original. If anyone thinks it's not please let me know in the comments

    Anyway it's in good shape with just a few flea bites on the bottom rim. Gonna display it for a while then...who knows.

    GW $1.99 tag was still on it.

      from your photos it looks like an original c1870, since I can't see any writing on the back. Reproduction pieces have writing: AHRC MICH 4950?

      Yes I've seen those on the repros. Mine is name free
