    TallCakes
    (114 items)

It's often nice to have a pair with the same pattern to stack or otherwise display your desserts. This is a heavy pattern with a nice tall gallery to hold lots of goodies.

Actually there are three sizes of cake stands, with many variations in height of the bases. 8", 9.5 " and 10.5" diameters. There are trays (cake plates without the bases basically) in same diameter. Never ceases to amaze me the differentiation of this pattern. Still finding new pieces in it!

they are hard to find. i think i have only two of them. my mother had one in her collection as well. there is a sweetmeat or jelly compote as well that is perfectly flat..only seen one of those. it's like a miniature cake stand..6" in diameter. have many close to flat but only the one perfectly flat. been collecting 30 plus years in this pattern. but still find new pieces. there are so many different versions of salts (shakers, open, etc). love the pattern still though.
