So happy to have his bottle! It's painted by Ye Zhongsan the Elder and is dated 1905.
The one features three women in conversation in different settings on each side. It has his typical bright red and green colorings, and the flattened sides are also painted with common themes for this artist - a bird and flowering branch on one side and a dragonfly and aquatic plants on the other.
I am not 100% certain, but am thinking this might be a rock crystal bottle too!
The mouth is very wide on this bottle and it's an unusual shape.
The bottle did not come with a top - I'm using another one I have just for the photograph.

    It measures 6.5cm tall.

Thanks racer4four - I actually posted the wrong side - the other side is even better and has the calligraphy. He was one of the master painters of snuff bottles.
