Hi....I am trying to get any info on the Steiff Camel...Could it be a store display?...It measures apx. 46" long and 37" tall...I purchased this at an estate sale and the seller told me it was from FAO Swartz...Any help would be appreciated...
It's entirely possible that this camel came from FAO Schwartz - the department store has been selling Steiff creations for more than 100 years.

Whether or not it was a window display will also remain unknown. Because the yellow Steiff tag is missing, there is no registration number. The smaller version of your camel was a pull toy:

Your camel looks fairly recent so it may be a replica of an earlier camel. You can always ask Steiff. I don't know where you live, so here is the UK site:
