    i think these were made in the 1920s-40s. i've always like them. it's the kind of decorative stuff my family could afford back in those days. this box is larger than most at 5.5" across.

      that's just what i call it. it's the cheap pottery from the 1920s/30s which we had lots of in our summer camps/cottages.
