Helen's lamps

This pair of lamps have been around at least 60 years. Not sure as to origin nor the maker. They both are still in great operating condition. I would love to find out anything about their history or the artist and where to get valued.
They each stand 31" tall
The base is some type of wood 2 3/4 inches tall
The shade is glass with small square stamping in the glass 5" tall
The top of the lamp above the painted section looks to be brass
