The devotion to the Sacred Heart (also known as the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Sacratissimi Cordis Iesu in Latin) is one of the most widely practiced and well-known Roman Catholic devotions, taking Jesus Christ's physical heart as the representation of His divine love for humanity.
This is a gorgeous antique large silver box in the shape of a heart and flames. Two marks on bail but are hard to read.
It's acid-tested silver with only minor traces of use, see pictures
Opens and closes just fine.
Measures: high 9 cm, 4.5 cm. wide and approx 2 cm. thick closed.
I'm a tuft of hair in my May J.L. deceased husband.
