Most quart cop the cream milk bottles are a standard 9 1/2" tall existing in both embossed & pyro styles. The "Econo-Cop" was introduced as a shorter version of 8 1/2" tall. I previously posted a picture of the salesman sample Econo-cop. These versions must not have been as popular as the taller types as to date there are only about 5 known dairies to have used these style bottles. I'm sure there are additional dairies that used the style , but they haven't surfaced in collections or at bottle shows. Perhaps they are hidden away in closet collections yet to be discovered. Pictured here are 4 of the 5 known examples of these type bottles. (center 4 bottles)
1) Krueger's Dairy 2) Collier's Meadow Crest Farm 3) Nick's Dairy Products 5) Oak Grove Dairy.
The other 2 bottles pictured in this front row are an orange/green 9 1/2" cop the cream from Greenwood Dairy & a red/blue baby top from Strathbar Farms.
