    this is a vintage zenith porthole tv.It was left to me by my father in law.It worked when he showed it to me, but now sound is fine but picture is small line. I read that zenith made only 10 of these in blonde cabinet and only one other exists.I vaguely remember these kind of tv,s so much has changed in the way we view life.I look at this tv and remember simpler times. thanks mcjpts

      I have a Vintage round Motorola but the victrola behind the door is missing..perhaps that's permission to turn it into the aquarium or a bar like some do. Mine has a beautiful cabinet too .Personally I could never be the first one to break something old. I've nearly wept over being that guy when it happened in my possesion..

      Beautiful Zenith Porthole TV.
      I too have one but no doors.
      Restored it to playing condition a year ago - great sets to show friends.

      Your porthole TV might just have a bad vertical amplifier tube.
