What a Great find today at the Concord, Ca. Flea Market!
First I found an antique Miller Bro's 2 folding blade same end pocket knife, it was rusty, with both tips missing, but was tight, and had good snap.
The Miller Bro's made knives from 1872-1926.
The lg. blade is 2 1/2" with broken tip, the sm. blade is 2" with broken tip, the case is 3 3/4". Priced at $2. I'll take it thank you! :^)
Oh, the case has 2 small rivets in the center, that I guess held on a small shield, of some kind, but gone now.
Next I found, an old Camillus Coast Guard Rope USCG single folding blade, wood handle pocket knife. ROUGH, rusty blade ground without seeing what they were doing, I guess. It has a3 1/2" blade, 4 3/4" case, overall length 7 7/8" when opened.
When I got the knives home, I scraped off the rust, used some 000 steel wool, and a little WD40, what a difference, but that's it. I like um. I like um a lot. :^)
awesome find !
Oh Yeah! ! ! whyatt, Thanks, I know that! The Camillus knife was only a buck! :^b
Thanks for all the love guys, a good day at the flea market! :^)
I find that every day, is a better day then one at work! LOL I guess that's why I'm retired! :^D
