    A very rare find.
A pair of Rene Lalique Bronze and glass handles from an even rarer 'Cluny' vase.
These came up at auction listed as shelf supports !,
Alas, I was unsuccessful but, by good fortune my dealer friend was not.
    We are still friends though!

      Yes,indeed.
However I have first refusal on them. My colleague took them to the Lalique museum in Wingen-sur-moder in France. Apparently they still have most of the original moulds, for the vases. They offered to make a one off 'Cluny' so the handles could be attached. However he declined, saying that it would not be the right thing to do.
      Many thanks.
