This is a rare Art Deco Tray made by the Quebec Art Pottery Company of Sainte-Agathe-Des-Monts, (North of Montreal) which started business in 1947 and lasted for only one decade. There are small figurines, bowls and ashtrays still being found but this tray is a rare product of this company. It measures 6 1/4" across by 9" by 1 3/4" and has a geometric triangular design along the border with a jet black glaze bottom and a tan-greenish coloured body and an orange underbase. The central figure is of a girl in a long coat, green pants, orange shoes, an orange belt & tie and a black hat that covers part of her blond hair. Her coat has an inner orange "doublure" (layer). I'm not sure why she is dressed this way since she doesn't represent any French Canadian style of the time. Any comments welcome. RER
I love this tray! It's got everything and makes a great statement. I've got my eyes out for something similar. Love your profile pic too! Who is that, looks familiar?

Thank you mikelv85, artfoot, racer4four, kivatinitz, ho2cultcha, NevadaBlades and aura for the love. In Argentina, the ladies wear similar attire when riding horses on the pampas but they usually wear long boots. RER
