Although the 1942 dated C.L./C. ( Canadian Motorlamp Company ) was the most widely produced Canadian Mk II of the second world war and I have a few in my collection I could not pass on this one .
It is sporting a 1942 dated VMC (Viceroy Manufacturing Company ) liner in a size 7 1/8 and is nicely C-/l\ marked on the shell, liner and chinstrap the two tone camo net is of the early 1 variation woven with the merrowed edge and it is nicely scrimmed in brown and green oil cloth (America cloth ) the oil from the cloth has transferred to the net and has nicely stained the Hessian the net has been on the helmet for some time and has left a ghost of an impression on the exterior of the helmet body from the net .

Do not see the netting on these often. Good find.

Thank you fortapache I have been collecting Canadian Tin Lids for a number of years and have only managed to add a few to my shelf with original netting still applied...
